Preliminary Research On Cultivation Of Youth Handball Talents In Support In China

Handball,as one of the oldest ball games in the world,has always been the official event in Olympic Games and the Asian Games.Modern handball game has a history of 60 years since 1957 in China.Our men's and women's handball teams have made remarkable achievements in multiple international competitions: the women's handball team have won the bronze medal,and the fifth in the Olympic Games,and also won the gold medal in the Asian Games;the men's handball team have also won the gold medal in the Asian Games.However,with the development of Chinese handball game,China has gradually lagged behind the world advance level.The development of teenager is also not satisfied.As for the reasons behind,apart from the gap in such aspects as training concepts and methods,the outdated cultivation system of back-up youth handball reserve talents is also a critical problem.This article uses research methods such as reference and experts talk to make systematic analysis for cultivation of of back-up youth handball reserve talents.The following conclusions are made through study:I: By 2017,there are totally 25 “reserve talent bases” with over 1100 registered athletes and more than 40 registered sports teams;There are only 50 amateur sports schools all over the country;The registered athletes under 18 years old is 350,including 154 males and 196 females,which is less than 1/3 of the total sum of the registered athletes.II: Our youth handball has been developed in recent years,and the number of schools and participants has increased.However,the training for youth players of amateur sports schools,reserve talents bases and provincial and municipal professional teams are not enough,and the development is relatively slow.III: At present,the training mode of China's youth handball reserve talents is mainly excellent sports team training mode.Although this training mode played a positive role,and it has trained and provided a large number of excellent handball players for various provinces and cities and the state,this training mode and providing channel is relatively single,which is severely restricted by all aspects.IV: The provinces in which the professional youth handball games develop well are mainly distributed in the middle and east,and problems such as insufficient reserve talents and bases,unbalanced development,lack of back-up talents,low rate of talents;imperfect system and urgent need of professional young athletes remain serious.V: The reasons for the problems of China youth handball talents include: outdated technical and strategic concept,deficient policies and regulations,disjointed combination of sports and education,limited teaching ability of the coaches,unsound athlete safeguard mechanism,obstructed cultivation and transmission channel,inadequate training and competition system,as well as monotonous education mode.To promote the development of youth handball,the study gives the following suggestions:I: policy guidance and laws and regulations should be improved,and the law enforcement should be strengthened the excellent sports team cultivation mode should be the key.II: closer cooperation between handball and education system and more efforts in culture learning need to be done with cooperation with education system.III: youth handball coach induction training and continuing education should be reinforced.IV: safeguard mechanism should be modified in order to establish a primary school–middle school-college training system and completely solve the problems of athletes and adopt cultivation mode of “integration of three aspects”;V: a relatively impeccable training and competition system should be set up,and meanwhile the resource integration level should be advanced to explore the game's charm and deep value and expand its influence.VI: diverse cultivation mode should be performed,and a government-dominated diversified cultivation mode supplemented by the market should be implemented and multiple talent-discovering channels should be advocated,all for the sake of sticking to the main line of cultivating more youth handball reserve talents.
