With the rapid development of science,technology and economy,the shortage of innovative talent in science has become increasingly prominent in countries.However,the exam-oriented education in China has seriously limited the cultivation of students' innovative ability.The combination of STS(science,technology and society)education and physical experiments,which will not occupy students' learning time but cultivate their scientific literacy,is an effective way to solve this problem.Therefore,under the consideration of the demand of social development and the characteristics of the current exam-oriented education in China,the author explores the development of STS physics innovative experiment,and provides some reference for physics teachers.The thesis is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background of the research and the significance of developing the STS physical innovative experiments,so that more physics teachers will realize the importance and urgency of the development.The second part introduces the connotation and characteristics of STS education,so that we can have a clearer understanding of STS education.In this part,the author also makes a brief summary on the content and characteristics of the physical experiments in middle school,and analyses the advantages of the combination of the physical experiments in middle school and the STS education.The third and fourth part explore some principles,methods and ways to develop STS physical innovative experiment.The author hopes it can provide some reference for physics teachers to design experiment.The fifth part,through the classroom teaching practice and reflection,enumerates some experimental cases based on the STS education concept design,to show the good teaching results of the combination of STS education and physical experiment more intuitively.In the sixth part,the author gives some corresponding suggestions by investigating the implementation situation of the physical experiment course,and combing and analyzing the current development situation and the problems.In the end,the author makes a conclusion of the research content and prospects the future of STS physical experiment.
