The H community is located in Cuiyun Street,Yubei District,Chongqing City.It is a community dominated by people who have changed their villages under the jurisdiction of Cuiyun Street.The residents were basically rural villagers in Cuiyun Township,Yubei District,Chongqing City,80% of whom were residents.The elderly are empty-nesters.Children occasionally return home to visit the elderly.There are not many entertainment activities for the elderly on weekdays.Most of them are chatting with acquaintances or playing cards.There are very few recreational activities related to spiritual comfort.During my internship in this community,the author conducted questionnaire surveys and interviews with some elderly people in the community to understand the basic situation of the elderly and investigated their spiritual comfort needs.A total of five spiritual comfort groups were designed in conjunction with social work theory and practical activities.The activity led a small group of empty-nesters to carry out the group and hopes to use this opportunity to promote exchanges between the old people.At the same time,through five groups of activities to meet the old people's personal communication,self-realization,respect,emotional support and The five types of cultural and recreational needs promoted the old people's sense of belonging to the community and met the team's goal of satisfying the spiritual comfort of the old people.It also summed up the experiences,inadequacies and reflections of the group's activities and involved the social work as a group.The study and practice of mental comfort in empty nesters in the community provide reference for the study.
