Teaching method directly determines the quality of teaching and personnel training.The choice of teachers’ teaching method firsthand decides the success of teaching effect,which makes it the firsthand and main elements in impacting teachers’ teaching quality,and also makes it have influence that cannot be ignored on students ’development.Based on research and investigation of teaching methods,this paper finds out some problems existing in the application of teaching methods in tennis teaching,and constantly improving and perfecting teaching method and quality of teaching.The main research methods of this study are expert interview method and questionnaires method.In this study,tennis teachers in 7 physical education institutes were studied by using designed questionnaires to investigate the status of teaching methods of tennis training and tennis training students’ attitude and reaction to different teaching method.The results are as follow:1.Nowadays training for tennis teachers in teaching methods is lacking,and tennis teachers have no enthusiasm to try new teaching methods and strategies for the limited class time.They tend to adopt traditional teaching methods2.Tennis teachers in physical education institutes recognize the role of modern teaching tools in tennis teaching,but teachers seldom use modern tennis teaching methods.Modern teaching tools can not be popularized and popularized.3.Tennis teaching of college dominated by common teaching methods.Mainly includes: language method、 multimedia teaching method and situational teaching method.Teaching methods of tennis skills teaching conform to the characteristics of three stages of sports skill formation,but most of them are common tennis teaching methods.The proportion of modern tennis teaching methods in skill teaching is relatively low.4.Tennis training students have a higher degree of adaptation to teachers’ application of teaching methods,and their overall satisfaction reaches the upper level.There is a significant difference between teachers and students’ satisfaction with the use of teaching methods.In the first grade student satisfaction of teachers teaching method is the highest,the lowest satisfaction in the third grade,from the first to third satisfaction with higher grade in descending order,second to the third degree of satisfaction the biggest drop,third to fourth satisfaction increased.5.The factors affecting the application of tennis teaching methods are divided into three aspects: teachers,students and objective factors.Teachers include teachers’ personal ability and teachers’ attitudes.Objective factors include teaching guiding ideology,construction of tennis teaching staff,site facilities and other hardware facilities.
