Ideological and political education,colleges and universities shoulder the important task of educating people for the party and the country.Based on this background,this paper takes the table tennis course as the carrier,focuses on the teaching design of the table tennis special course of physical education,adheres to the educational concept of unifying the teaching of knowledge and skills with the value shaping of ideological guidance,deeply excavates the ideological and political factors contained in the table tennis special course,and timely integrates them into all links of teaching activities,so as to cultivate all-round development talents with both political integrity and ability who can meet the important tasks of the times,And promote the ideological and political construction of Zhengzhou University courses,and provide theoretical reference for the implementation of Ideological and political teaching design in other professional courses.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature,interdisciplinary research,interview and logical analysis.It takes the ideological and political teaching design of table tennis special course of physical education major in Zhengzhou University as the research object,and the expert teachers engaged in table tennis special course teaching and ideological and political education in Zhengzhou University as the research object.When writing the article,it is carried out in an orderly manner according to the five steps of preparation-Investigation-Construction-Research-Summary.The conclusions are as follows:1.It is very necessary to practice the concept of Ideological and political education in the table tennis special course of physical education major.It plays an important role in the development of students’ physical and mental health,the code of conduct and ethics,the improvement of teachers’ awareness and ability of educating people,the promotion of the integration of physical education and education,the strengthening of sports and the inheritance of the national table tennis spirit.2.Through in-depth analysis of the characteristics and advantages of table tennis,we can find that it contains many ideological and political education elements required by the times.Taking table tennis special courses as the carrier to carry out the ideological and political teaching
