In recent years, with the rapid development of China's socio-economic,special education continues to developed, educate intellectual education is also increasingly concerned about. At present,China's adolescent sex education has been generally concerned, but the mentally retarded students of sex education has developed relatively slow.Although the mentally retarded students mental development relative to ordinary children have some hysteresis, but their physical development needs and peers are the same.Researchers in small-scale surveys also found that the age of sexual maturity of children with mental retardation was not significantly different from that of ordinary students. This study conducted a questionnaire survey, individual interviews, practical observations and case studies on the teachers of 218 special education schools in Y province and parents of 16 mentally retarded students. The study found that students with intellectual disabilities have the need to receive sex education, and have good teaching feedback after implementing sex education.Students, parents, school teachers and administrative staff have a positive attitude towards the acceptance of sex education for children with intellectual disabilities, but because of the strength of teachers and curriculum resources Lack of awareness of the division of responsibilities of policies and regulations is not clear, and teachers with different professional backgrounds have different knowledge about the education of sexually retarded students. The lack of social support system required by schools and parents leads to the difficulty of sex education.Based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire, the relevant literatures at home and abroad were reviewed, and the suggestions were put forward by the researchers in combination with the needs and reality of teachers, students and parents.
