Part time teachers occupy an important position in adult education in Universities,reasonable management can effectively promote the improvement of teaching quality,so as to improve the overall level of adult education in Universities.In this study,literature review,case study,questionnaire and interview method are used to analyze the current situation and problems of part-time teacher management in adult education in universities,so as to put forward some corresponding optimization strategies.On the basis of literature research,the author takes school of vocational and continuing education,Yunnan University as a case study,providing an overview of the part-time faculty hiring,training,motivation and evaluation system.There are some problems found through questionnaire survey and interview survey:in terms of hiring part-time teachers,the part time teachers are taken as an economic person and the selection procedure is too simple,the formality of the problem;in terms of part time teacher training,it mainly based on a single training mode and the traditional training,it lacks the content and training effectiveness evaluation system;in terms of part time teacher motivation,mainly based on the due diligence incentive contract and lacks of spiritual incentive;in terms of the evaluation of part time teachers,there are some problems such as based on the summative evaluation,evaluation of the main object,single object is unitary and the feedback is not timely.According to the practical problems,the author puts forward the corresponding strategies from the following five aspects:establishing the management idea of part-time teachers based on the theory of school management;establishing a part time teacher selection system based on psychological contract theory;establishment a part time teachers' network training system based on Blended Learning Theory;establishing the incentive system of part time teachers based on two factor theory;establishing the evaluation system of part time teachers based on S-BESD quality evaluation model.In order to optimize the management of part time teachers in adult education in universities,improve the level of running a school.
