Nowadays,improving the teaching quality of higher education in our country is not only the centre of gravity of the development of higher education,but also an important way to promote the construction of world-class universities.Studies have shown that to improve the teaching quality of higher education,our universities pay more attention to the "Macro-condition" of teaching,like hardware facilities and regulations.The "micro-elements" directly related to the actual situation of classroom teaching,such as the students' learning strategies,process and results,are not high.Course selection is an inevitable part of college students' experience in the higher education process of accepting credit system.According to the survey,there exists the phenomena of unreasonable course selection among students,such as based on course name,others peoples advises,curiosity and so on.From the perspective of curriculum understanding,the different understanding of students ' curriculum value,curriculum cognition and curriculum practice leads students to produce different course selection behaviors.Factors influencing the understanding of students' curriculum include the dereliction in the curriculum implementation and management,the distortion and feeble of teacher's curriculum understanding and the stray of students' responsibility and ability.The course understanding has positive influence on the elective course and has negative influence.Therefor,we should take the following measures to improve students' curriculum understanding.First,reforming the professional guiding course and offering course guide..Second,implementing the undergraduate tutor system,strengthening the guidance of students' curriculum study.Third,formulating the course selection guide and adding course introduction to the elective system.Forth,improving teachers' teaching ability,changing teaching mode and method.Fifth,choice courses in electives,establishing the relevance between curriculum and students..
