| One of the core factors influencing the development of education in China is rural education,but the development of rural education in our country is lagging behind.Especially,the quality of rural small-scale schools in remote areas is relatively low,and there are the inseparable relationship between the development of rural small schools and professional development of small rural school principals,specifically,the rural small school principals professional development have an affect on the quality of rural education.Therefore,the improvement of the professional development level of rural small school principals will help to improve the quality of rural small schools,and then promote the improvement of rural education quality and realize the balanced development of urban and rural compulsory education.The research perspective of this study is rural small schools,this study selected in W County of Gansu Province to participate in small-scale school principals training of 50 small rural school principals as the object of study,in the training period,uniformly give out and collect questionnaire,After data analysis,preparation of interview outline,select eight principals to conduct interviews.On the basis of understanding the current situation of the development of small school principals in rural areas,the author finds out the problems highlighted in the current situation and analyzes the reasons in depth,and then puts forward the relevant countermeasures.According to the survey results concluded:1.The small school principals participating in the survey were young,and the knowledge of school leadership and management was weak,lacks systematic and effective training.2.The small school principals participating in the survey are short of understanding and cognition of the school development plan,as well as the school’s orientation,school characteristics and educational philosophy are not clear.3.Participation in the survey of rural small school principals on the planning of the school development and construction of education and culture of professional knowledge and methods are lacking,which mainly in the basic theory and methods of the school development planning work,humanities and social sciences and naturalscience knowledge and school cultural construction should have the basic theory and other related knowledge and methods have shortcomings.4.Participate in the survey of small rural school principals in the planning of school development,to create a culture of education and to lead teachers to develop professional capacity and lack of behavior,rural small school principals think that their development in the school planning,green campus information network construction and teachers Development of the system and other aspects of capacity is limited.Based on the above conclusions,this study suggests that the promotion strategy of professional development of rural small school principals is as follows:Development education,establish a lifelong learning philosophy,strengthen the sense of reflection;education administrative departments should further improve the rural small school principals with the professional development of the relevant protection mechanism;society should pay more attention to small rural schools and rural small school principals. |
