The problem-based learning model,also know as the PBL(Problem-Based-Learing)teaching model,is a problem-based-learning model that is designed to study in a more complex and meaningful context.The purpose of PBL is to solving the problem,so as to improve their autonomy,cooperative,learning ability and ability to solve problems.There are differences between the traditional teaching mode and PBL teaching model in the role of teacher,form of teaching and so on.Because of the advantages of PBL teaching model,it is in line with the concept of new curriculum reform in China.This study try to explore the application of the new model in the chemistry classroom to improve the interest of students in chemistry learning using PBL teaching model as subject.The content of this paper is divided into three parts.Part ?:The author analyzed corrlative literature domestic and overseas,expounded the conception,characteristics,main point of the PBL model.Followed by the analysis of the status of electrochemical teaching.Part ?: On the basis of this,the knowledge about "original battery" and "electrolytic pool" on the forth elective high school chemistry book was served as an example for teaching design.Two classes of Grade two in a high school at Zhuzhou,one experimental class and one comparison class,are starting a practical study.Part ?:when the study has been proceeding more than one month,we take some methods to detect teaching results,such as questionnaire survey,pen and paper test and interviewing.Then combined the experiment data to analyze and summarize,we can find out the shortcomings of the study.The study shows that the PBL model not only help students improve their academic achievements but also improve their ability to analyze and solve problems by themselves.However,a lack of practical experience and ability of controlling the class lead to the result,which teaching feedback did not reach a good goal than expected.So as to improve students' interest in learning and teachers' quality,it is necessary for teachers to accumulate experience,learn continually,self-improvement,review teaching practice and sum up teaching experience.We must optimize the teaching construction continuously to promote course efficiency?teacher's professional skills and professional quality.
