Under the overall background of education for all-around development,the educational evaluation is initiated to be increasingly diversified and individual.How to effectively exert the evaluating function of paper-and-pencil test,currently deemed as the primary evaluation approach for subject education,is to be prudently discussed and considered by massive researchers.The biological open-end question in senior high school is able to effectively examine students' creativity and quality of thinking thanks to its opening thought,opening condition,opening process and opening conclusion.Hence,the open-ended question is attached significance in the teaching evaluation for biology subject.To perfect the designing of biological open-end question in senior high school,and to exert this question's unique function in the biology teaching in senior high school,the strategy for designing biological open-end question in senior high school is established on the basis of SOLO taxonomy theory.And then specific test question examples are designed and illustrated through adopting the established design strategy.In the end,whether the biological open-end question design in senior high school is scientific and effective from the SOLO taxonomy perspective are researched through carrying out experiments.The main research contents of this paper are presented as follow:First and foremost,the introduction of this paper is carried out.The guiding significance of SOLO taxonomy theory attached in biological open-end question design in senior high school is set forth on the basis of summarizing the domestic and overseas research status of SOLO taxonomy theory.Furthermore,the definition,categories and functions of biological open-end question in senior high school are summarized.Secondly,the strategy of designing biological open-end question in senior high school is discussed from the perspective of SOLO taxonomy.In view of the research in this chapter,the feasibility of SOLO taxonomy theory in the biological open-end question design in senior high school is analyzed.The designing basis and the specific designing principle of biological open-end question in senior high school is elaborated integrating the introduction of biological curriculum standards in senior high school,the examination requirement of biology in senior high school,SOLO taxonomy theory,and the characteristics and functions of open-ended questions.Finally,based on the general procedure of test question design,the design procedure for biological open-ended questions in senior high school is established from SOLO taxonomy perspective.The procedure consists of confirming the testing objective,designing the question structure,adopting the design strategy,designing the arrangement of questions and formulating the evaluation standard.Thirdly,the examples of biological open-ended questions in senior high school from SOLO taxonomy perspective are presented.Through adopting the established design strategy,each biological module,inclusive of three compulsory modules,molecule and cell,inheritance and evolution and homeostasis and environment,and of two elective modules,modern biotechnology subject and biotechnology practice,is given 2 designed examples.Further,the question examples are illustrated.Fourthly,the experiment of applying biological open-ended questions in senior high school from SOLO taxonomy perspective is carried out.In this chapter,in accordance with the the established design process of open-ended questions,the two open-ended questions are designed for the fifth chapter,"cellular energy and supply",of the first compulsory biology textbook,molecule and cell.Additionally,the questions are carried out the trial test in accordance with the Grmanl theory,Afterwards,two questions are examined,And it turned out that the dedign is relatively reasonable,which can provide a better test for students'level of thinking.The SOLO taxonomy theory and the biological open-ended question design in senior high school are harmoniously combined,the SOLO taxonomy theory is widely applied in the biological subject teaching,and the design of biological open-ended questions is perfected,which presents the reference for establishing the new teaching evaluation system.
