Now,there are many problems in high school ideological and political lesson,many of which exist in the classroom teaching such as traditional force-feeding way of education,teachers’ more attention in classroom teaching and less attention in students’ social practice and too much reliance on multimedia.These phenomena are not only led by teachers,but also by the inaccurate orientation of high school political lesson.Under the influence of various factors,most high school teachers consciously or unconsciously consider ideological and political lesson as one of the original curriculums.They only chase scores and rankings,ignoring this lesson’s function in ideological education and guidance to some extent,which is not good for the curriculum’s development especially the realization of the teaching goal and should be attached great importance to and amended.“The orientation mistakes” in this paper refers to the difference between the right orientation of high school ideological and political lesson and the actual orientation.High school ideological and political lesson is meant to cultivate middle school students’ “three values”,but it tends to be a tool for exams under the college entrance examination and scores,which is the most serious problem in this lesson’s target orientation.This thesis analyzes the current situation and problems of high school ideological and political lesson,trying to give specified strategies to improve the effectiveness of this lesson and make a stable foundation for high school students’ lifelong and all-round development from the perspective of orientation mistakes.This paper consists of 5 parts.The first part includes the literature review,research status at home and abroad,the research background,objective,significance and the research methods.The second part clarifies the right target of high school ideological and political lesson and the detailed target orientation of this lesson.The third part clarifies the existing problems by questionnaires.The forth part analyzes the target mistakes and reasons of high school ideological and political lesson.The target mistakes include more attention in textbook knowledge and less in socialpractice,more attention in exams and less in behavior cultivation,and more attention in traditional education mode and less in interaction.The reasons include wrong target orientation because of utilitarianism,the distance between teaching contents and students’ cognition,the target mistakes made by poor teaching modes and methods.The last part points out the basic strategies to correct the teaching targets of the lesson.On the basis of the current problems and reasons of high school ideological and political lesson,it put forward the countermeasures from the aspects of teaching methods,teaching concepts,evaluation methods,teaching resources,and returning to the high school ideological and political lesson standard.
