Policy Research On Law Education Of Hainan University Students

Under the background of a law-ruled China and Hainan International Tourism Island construction,strengthening and improving the law education policies for university students in Hainan Province,and promoting Hainan college students' law education are very significant to the future development of Hainan Province.This dissertation has analyzed and defined the related concepts,focusing on the two concepts of legal education and the law education.I have sorted out the policies of the college students' law education and analyzed the the construction of the rule of law in different stages of development,and the main content of the law education policies,and the characteristics of the law education policies in different periods,which are the theoretical basis of the research.In this dissertation,I have made the statistical survey and analysis of the research results which are made on the basis of the questionnaire and interviews from the universities and colleges in Hainan Province.From the survey,we found that,in Hainan province,some achievements have been made on the college students' law education,but there are still some deficiencies.These shortcomings include:some colleges and universities do not pay enough attention to the rule of law education,the law education and management system of universities and colleges in Hainan province have to be optimized;the university and college students have generally recognized the importance of the rule of law,and have the subjective intention of learning the law-related knowledge,but some students lack the corresponding knowledge,awareness and quality of law;the teaching effects of the main course of "Ideological and moral cultivation and the law basis" should be improved,the existing classes of law education cannot meet the needs of the students;the platform of university law education is obviously insufficient,the participation frequency of college students is low,the law education activities should be adjusted;the construction of the work team of the existing law education is insufficient,which needs to be further strengthened.On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical research,in this essay,I have put forward five points of recommendations for the law education policies of the university students in Hainan Province:to improve the degree of importance,given the status of College Students' law education should,to formulate the university law education policies according to its own characteristics of Hainan Province on the basis of its specialties and future development needs;to adjust and optimize the law education course study from three angles of content,teaching hours and teaching methods;to enrich the forms of law education and to build three-dimensional form of the law education system;to strengthen the construction of teachers team.
