Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the Chinese government has gradually increased its emphasis on the subjective well-being of the people,and constantly paid attention to the people’s livelihood,hoping to make people’s life happier.Due to the continuous deepening of China’s aging population,the elderly is an important part of China’s population composition,so it has also become the focus of academic attention.In the process of changing social roles,the rapid development of the times and the change of economic income,the elderly are prone to emotional disorders.Therefore,it is of great significance to pay attention to the subjective well-being of the elderly and explore the factors that affect the subjective well-being of the elderly.At present,there are relatively few researches on the subjective well-being of the elderly in rural areas,and the influencing factors of the subjective well-being of the elderly in rural areas are not clear.There is room for further research on the current situation and influencing factors of the subjective well-being of the elderly in rural areas.In this study,qualitative and quantitative methods were used to explore the current situation and influencing factors of subjective well-being of the rural elderly.2015 survey data of Chinese General Social Survey released based on China National Survey Database in2018,this paper selects 1632 rural elderly as research samples,and then discusses the internal influence mechanism of subjective well-being of the elderly in rural areas through case interviews.The descriptive statistical analysis method was used to analyze the current situation and differences of the subjective well-being of the elderly in rural areas.The correlation analysis and binary logistic linear regression analysis method were used to explore the factors that have a significant impact on the subjective well-being of the elderly in rural areas.The study found that the overall level of subjective well-being of the elderly in rural China was on the high side,and 77.1% of the respondents felt "happy" or "very happy".Health status、number of children、 neighborhood familiarity、 community trust、 social content and satisfaction with the government’s life security for the elderly have a significant impact on the subjective well-being of the rural elderly.In order to improve the subjective well-being of the elderly in rural areas and prevent and improve their depression,we can start from paying attention to the physical condition of the elderly in rural areas,giving full play to the role of family social capital,building community social capital and improving the satisfaction of pension security,so as to further promote the mental health level and the quality of life of the elderly in rural areas,so as to improve the quality of life of the elderly in rural areas Subjective well-being.
