| In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy and the continuous advancement of the modernization process,China is in the historical stage of the transition from traditional society to modern society,and the social construction has made great progress.However,at the same time,social contradictions and social problems are gradually increasing,and the control ability of existing social norms is weakening.The society is in a state of anomie,leading to social disorder and frequent social conflicts,among which the most extreme manifestation is the frequent occurrence of the revenge-on-society crimes.Revenge-on-society crimes has serious social harm.It is not a simple individual anti-social behavior,and its occurrence is closely related to the social structure and the social operation.Social factors are the underlying cause of the revenge-on-society crimes.This paper studies revenge-on-society crimes from the perspective of social anomie theory.It studies the relationship between social anomie and revenge-on-society crimes in China’s transformation period from the social level,and tries to find the mechanism of the occurrence of revenge-on-society crimes,providing a theoretical basis for the governance of revenge-on-society crimes.Social anomie theory originates in the West,and it is represented by Durkheim and Merton.Durkheim’s theory of social anomie believes that social anomie is caused by the failure to observe moral norms during the process of social change,especially from traditional society to modern society.Merton’s theory of social anomie is based on two variables,cultural goals and institutionalized means.A theoretical model of individual adaptation patterns is established to explain the influence of social anomie on deviant behaviors.Western social anomie theory provides theoretical basis and important support for China ’s social anomie theory research.Chinese scholars proceed from the social reality of China ’s transition period to localize social anomie theory and believe that China ’s social change is the root cause of social anomie.Revenge-on-society crimes is an extreme manifestation of social anomie.The analysis of the status,characteristics and social harmfulness of the revenge-on-society crimes in China provides the factual basis and the necessary basis for the research of the revenge-on-society crimes.Revenge-on-society crimes is sudden and highly destructive.The most significant feature of revenge-on-society crimes is that most of them are social disadvantaged groups.They usually choose to attack innocent people in public places by means of explosion,poisoning,arson,knife killing,gun shooting and car ramming,which has serious social harm.So it is necessary to analyze the source of their resentment and hate with the help of social anomie theory and why it is particularly prominent in socially disadvantaged groups.In the state of social anomie,the imbalance of social structure,the lack of institutional norms,the distortion of social culture,and the crisis of mentality at the bottom of society are typical problems of social anomie in our country,and they are the social factors of revenge-on-society crimes.The imbalance of social structure is the social root of the revenge-on-society crimes,and the imbalance of social structure aggravates the tension among all social strata,which is the starting point of resentment and hatred.The lack of institutional norms makes it difficult to reconcile the tension between different social strata,which is the institutional cause of revenge-on-society crimes.The distortion of social culture impairs the mainstream values of the society,distorts the individual values,and contributes to the occurrence of revenge-on-society crimes.The crisis of mentality at the bottom of society reflects the widespread existence of resentment and hatred.It is no accident that the revenge-on-society crimes takes place.Under the influence of social factors,resentment and hatred are released through the extreme emotions of the individual,and eventually leads to the occurrence of revenge-on-society crimes.Through the analysis of the occurrence mechanism of revenge-on-society crimes in China,the governance of revenge-on-society crimes can follow the principle of prevention first and punishment second.We will create a three-dimensional governance system with equal emphasis on social prevention,individual prevention,judicial punishment and public security prevention and control,so as to effectively reduce or curb the occurrence of the revenge-on-society crimes. |
