A Study On The Old People’s Family Support From The Perspective Of Social Work

Supporting the aged is a hot topic in today’s society,due to the increasing of the aged population and the coming of the aging society,there are many pension problems.We have to face the severe form and the huge pressure of providing for the aged.The problem of providing for the aged is an important social problem related to people’s happiness and social harmony,which needs the attention of the whole society.Through the preliminary investigation,the author found that the main problems of urban elderly in the family pension are economic problems,too much psychological pressure leads to emotional impact,and disease entanglement threatens the health of the elderly and the plight of life care.This study is based on the problem of family support for the elderly in cities,the elderly living in C community of Jining district are selected as the research object,and the interview method is used to investigate.In view of the problems existing in family pension,the case work and group work are used to intervene in social work,and some results are achieved.This paper consists of four parts: introduction,analysis of the status quo of the elderly in Community C of Jining District,analysis of the problems and causes of the elderly’s family pension in Community C of Jining District,and the practice of social work involving in the elderly’s family pension.The introduction part consists of research background and significance,researchreview,research methods,concept definition and theoretical support.The first chapter is the current situation of the elderly care,mainly the general overview of the current situation of the elderly care in C community,and explains the main ways of the elderly care in C community.The second chapter discusses the problems and causes of family pension,mainly from the aspects of economy,life care,psychological pressure and disease,and analyzes the causes from the perspective of physiological changes,social status and child care.In the third chapter,social work is involved in the practical service of the elderly’s family pension.Firstly,the feasibility of social work intervention is analyzed,and then the case work and group work are used to intervene in the problems of family pension.Finally,the problems in the process of intervention are reflected.The role of social work in this study is to explore a model to solve the problem of family pension for the elderly,to provide a way for the elderly to learn from,to ensure the happy life of the elderly.
