The degree of Chinese aging population continues to improve,modern family structure is changing,which has gradually weaken the function of in-home care for the aged.It means that old parents can’t rely on their children to support their life any more.In addition,China’s vast territory,unbalanced local economic development,and the obvious difference between urban and rural areas as well as the difference between big cities and small cities constitute the complex background of Chinese aged population.Raising aged population has become a issue which every family,the society and even the whole country must face.Social care service has become the basic public service in aging society.Only the government,society and the family share responsibilities and obligations of raising aged population,accelerate the pace of the construction of social old-age service system,constantly improve the social care model and sum up experiences and shortcomings,then make a correct,rational plan for social mode of elderly support can we effectively alleviate the problem of raising aged population.As the weakening of family mode of elderly support,meanwhile that the social mode of elderly support has its unique advantages,developing the social mode of elderly support comes to be an inevitable trend.Based on the severe context of Chinese aging population,Tianjin has explored and innovated in the elderly support modes,aiming to provide the best service for the elderly.In addition to the related policies,Tianjin urban social mode of elderly support in the part of elderly facilities construction,service supply and the activities for the elderly have achieved remarkable results.Through the practice investigation found that Chinese urban social mode of elderly support still have many problems,such as the service content of urban social mode of elderly support still need to expand and enrich,the supporting facilities still need to complete and improve,the quality of service personnel also need to be improved.In order to improve the social mode of elderly support for our country,we need the guidance of "public service consciousness" and "innovation consciousness",strengthen the departmental linkage,strengthen the overall planning and stratified design,integrate the social pension resources and pay attention to the cultivation of nursing staff and volunteer team building;family and the elderly themselves need to maintain the historical status of family pension,concerned about the social participation of aged people.
