With the development of China's economy,the main contradiction in our society has been transformed into the contradiction between the people's growing needs for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development,building a harmonious police-civilian relationship is an important part of building a harmonious society and the inevitable choice to do well the public security work at new period.The new era gives Wuhai public security the new responsibility and mission,Wuhai citizens put forward new requirements for Wuhai public security.In this context,the inharmonious phenomenon among the police and the people in Wuhai City is more prominent.Therefore,in order to better realize the long-term stability of Wuhai City and improve the sense of security and satisfaction of Wuhai citizens,it is necessary to study the construction of a harmonious police-civilian relationship in Wuhai City.In recent years,in order to improve the rate of solving crimes and enhance the ability of serving the people,the Wuhai public security system promotes the construction of law-enforcement standardization and the joint operation of all kinds of police,and carries out various forms of interaction between the police and the people to promote the harmony between the police and the people.However,the phenomenon still exists that the law enforcement of some police is unfair and some people do not trust the police.In order to better fulfill the new mission of Wuhai public security work at new period,better meet the new requirements of Wuhai citizens for public security work,build the harmonious and beautiful Wuhai City,through learning from the advanced experience and research results of the United Kingdom,the United States,Singapore,Zhuji,Handan,Hong Kong,combining with the actual situation of Wuhai public security work,adopting the literature method,investigation and research method,case analysis method,this paper summarizes the general situation of Wuhai City and the current police-civilian relationship in Wuhai City,defines the concept of harmonious relationship between the police and the people,and carries out in-depth investigation and research using the theory of public management.Through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the relationship between the police and the people in Wuhai City and the problems existing in the process of building a harmonious police-civilian relationship from the perspective of the police and the people,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward countermeasures from three aspects: the construction of the police force,closing contact with the people and handling the relationship with the media.We hope that this paper will be helpful for Wuhai City and other cities to build a harmonious police-civilian relationship.
