Investigation For Job Satisfaction Of Civilian Staff In Shilong Public Security Bureau Of Dong Guan City

Since China's reform and opening-up, Dongguan implementing the policy of reform and opening-up firstly for thirty years, the rapid development of economy and the massive influx of floating population make Dongguan becoming a fluxion city. Fluxion brings vitality as well as unsteadies the social framework of the city, which making the challenge to the existing social order. Under the influence of the limit of establishment and bad public security environment, the problem of lack of police in public security organs becomes more and more serious. As a result, Dongguan City public security organs begin to implement civilian system as a brand new try of reform of personnel system which indeed relieves the pressure from lack of police, improves the resource structure of police team, benefits police resources redistribution, avails and raises the efficiency of policing operation. However, when civilian staff make a fully function, the management exposes many problems which make a lot of factors to influence the working motivation of civilian staff, such as salary and welfare is low, job satisfaction is low, loyalty is weak. Therefore, the investigation base on improving work satisfaction plays an important role to promote the public security work effective.This thesis takes 58 civilian staff from the units directly under Dongguan City Public Security Shilong Branch as the objects of investigation. First, find out the job satisfaction of the civilian staff thorough Interview and questionnaire. Second, make statistics of the factors influence the work satisfaction of civilian staff within social science statistical software SPSS19.0. On this basis, thorough data analysis, proposing measures to improve the exiting problems effecting the job satisfaction of civilian staff in order to perfect and improve Dongguan City public security civilian system, make civilian staff play a greater role in the work and produce positive effect on the public security construction of Dongguan City.
