Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of The Management Of Elderly,Sick And Disabled Criminals

With the advancement of the classification system of prison criminals,the elderly,sick and disabled criminals,as a special kind of criminals,have gradually become the focus and difficulty of management.The reform performance of the elderly,sick and disabled criminals is closely related to their unique physiological and psychological characteristics.However,at present,the work of grading treatment in prisons is not perfect,nor is the management of the elderly,sick and disabled criminals which highlight the pertinence of their characteristics and lack of humanized management.How to formulate a suitable management model according to the characteristics of the elderly,sick and disabled criminals is of great significance to ensure the safety and stability of prison supervision order and to build a harmonious society.Firstly,this paper defines the related concepts of the elderly,sick and disabled criminals,then collects the data of the prisoners in the elderly,sick and disabled prison area through questionnaire survey and SCL90 psychological test,obtains the basic situation of the elderly,sick and disabled criminals and analyses their unique physiological and psychological characteristics.Combining with the actual work,this paper discusses the three major means of reforming prisoners in S prison,including prison administration,labor reform and educational reform.Through the application of prison theory,humanism theory and Maslow’s demand theory,it analyses the existing problems in prison and puts forward solutions.It is hoped that a new way of thinking will be opened up for the management of the elderly,sick and disabled criminals from a unique angle.
