With the development of the socialist market economy in our country,the development of the city has become more and more rapid.Beijing as China’s political center and economic center,has attracted a large number of floating population to come to employment and settle down.On the one hand,the rapid growth of the floating population has played an active role in the economic prosperity.It is the inevitable requirement of China’s economic and political development.On the other hand,The continuous growth of floating population has brought the problems of urban construction,cultural education,health care,social management and so on,intensified social contradictions and conflicts and brought great pressure to social security.Therefore,strengthening the public security management of the floating population in Beijing has a positive effect on promoting economic development and maintaining social stability.This paper utilized the theory of floating population and community police service theory to research.First,I analyzed the basic situation,characteristic and development of the floating population in Beijing,and then pointed out the weak links in the security management of the floating population in Beijing,such as the registration,daily management and otheraspects of law enforcement.Secondly,I analyzed the causes of the above problems from the aspects of police forces,registration forms,rental housing management and so on.The last part is promoting the public service management level of floating population and promoting the development of harmonious society by the methods of finding new mode of public security management ajust to the new situation,relieving urbun functions,improving laws and regulations and so on.
