Police officers who are exposed to high risk, high pressure, high intensity and high stress for a long time have high incidence of job burnout.Border inspection teams,as a special police category, are at the forefront of maintaining the security and stability of the country's entry and exit ports.Their exposure to high job pressure is more likely to induce job burnout. At present, there is little research on job burnout among border police officers. Therefore,it is of great significance to deeply explor e the job burnout among this group.Since the professional reform of border inspection in 1998,Guangzhou General Station of Entry and Exit Frontier Inspection,as one of the first batch of nine pilot frontier inspection stations, was transformed from frontier defense to people's police, and then began to recruit police officers through the national civil service examination.Over the past 20 years, the police officers recruited after professional reform have become the backbone of the border inspection team.Their work level and service attitude not only determine the image of border inspection in the public, but also affect the image of China in the minds of domestic and foreign tourists.Taking the police officers recruited after the professional reform of border inspection in Guangzhou as the object of research, this study first summarized and analyzed the research results of job burnout among police officers at home and abroad, and then adopted the internationally used Maslach burnout scale and the sel fdeveloped burnout source scale to conduct a questionnaire survey. Finally, based on the two-factor theory, this study analyzed the status quo and causes of job burnout among police officers, and put forward corresponding suggestions on resolving various bottleneck problems existing in the current work according to the research results, thus establishing an incentive mechanism with a long-term effect and improving the service level and ability of border inspection authorities.According to the research results, the overall situation of job burnout among police officers recruited after the professional reform of border inspection in Guangzhou General Station of Entry and Exit Frontier Inspection has its universality and particularity. The research on job burnout among police officers recruited after the professional reform of border inspection in Guangzhou General Station of Entry and Exit Frontier Inspection is conducive to improving the data of job burnout among the border inspection police officers nationwide and providing some theoretical guidance for understanding the status quo of job burnout among police officers recruited the professional reform of border inspection in Guangzhou General Station of Entry and Exit Frontier Inspection.
