Research On Perception Of Privacy Infringement Risks In The Big Data Era

The advent of the era of big data has dramatically changed people’s lives.On the one hand,our lives have become more convenient and faster,and we have enjoyed more personalized services.On the other hand,users have rarely realized these services and conveniences.The potential privacy infringement risks in China are accompanied by the constant increase of privacy infringement risks,and incidents of privacy infringement are also frequent,making the personal privacy protection issues of users not to be ignored.This article conducts research from the perspective of “perceived privacy infringement risks”,using literature analysis and questionnaire survey methods,taking Douyin users as the survey object,and researching the perception of the possible privacy infringement risks encountered by mobile social media users in the era of big data and its possible impact Influencing factors,and propose corresponding solutions accordingly.First,this article explores the basic status of privacy infringement in the era of big data and analyzes its causes.The analysis finds that there are six main reasons for the frequent occurrence of privacy infringement in the era of big data,including the value of privacy data and the convenience of data acquisition.And richness,the naturalness to integration of privacy,the weak closeness of the infringing parties,the concealment of infringement,and the difficulty of identifying injuries.In the analysis of these reasons,the author found that if we can consciously sense the risks of privacy infringement and take corresponding measures,then it will be possible to protect our privacy from being violated or reduce the harm caused to us by infringement.Then,the perception of privacy infringement risks in the era of big data is discussed from two aspects: perception of privacy risks and perception of infringement injuries.The study found that users have shortcomings in the perception of privacy infringement risks.In order to solve the problem of privacy infringements,a further discussion on the influencing factors of privacy risk perception is proposed.Then,through related theoretical research,four dimensions of privacy concern,privacy control,trust,and privacy risk perception are proposed and corresponding assumptions aremade to explore the influencing factors of privacy risk perception.The research found that privacy concerns have a positive impact on privacy risk perception;privacy control has a negative impact on privacy risk perception;trust has a negative impact on privacy risk perception,and the conclusions are consistent with previous assumptions.Finally,according to the research on the degree of privacy perception and the research on the influencing factors of privacy risk perception,the author puts forward individual and platform measures to protect user privacy in the era of big data.
