Research On China’s International Anti-corruption Cooperation Since The 18^thcpc National Congress

With the globalization’s development,corruption is increasingly eroding wo rld economic,political and social development.Corruption in a country will not only pollute its political ecology and socio-economic environment,lead to its "n ot clean",and associated with foreign corrupt activities spread,causes the phen omenon of "external not clean",namely reduce the clean degree of corruption re cipients,shake the foundation of economic,political and social and ecological d evelopment.Therefore,anti-corruption is no longer an "internal affair" of a coun try,but requires countries to strengthen cooperation and joint governance,intern ational anti-corruption cooperation is inevitable.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,in order to further control the corru ption’s negative externalities effect,promote the domestic corruption combat an d strengthen the ability to participate in global governance,China strengthen pra ctical cooperation in the pursuit of fugitives and recovery of stolen assets,advoc ate the establishment of a new international anti-corruption order,and deepen th eoretical research on international anti-corruption cooperation to carry out intern ational cooperation against corruption.It has not only severely cracked down on corrupt fugitives,but also greatly deterred corrupt fugitives who intend to flee o verseas,established an international anti-corruption cooperation mechanism.Although China’s international anti-corruption cooperation has achieved so mmay results since the 18 th CPC national congress,it is also faced with many pr actical difficulties.First,the international environment for China to carry out inte rnational anti-corruption cooperation needs to be optimized.Second,China’s rele vant systems for international cooperation against corruption need to be strength ened in line with the United Nations convention against corruption and other int ernational systems.Third,China’s international anti-corruption cooperation mech anism is still to be improved.Fourth,China’s ability to apply information techno logy in international anti-corruption cooperation needs to be strengthened,and t he internationalization of its work force needs to be enhanced.In order to further carry out international anti-corruption cooperation,China should not only draw on the positive experience in the practice of international anti-corruption cooperation since the 18 th CPC national congress,but also stick to the problem-oriented approach.First,optimize the environment of cooperatio n.Second,strengthen the linkage of international anti-corruption cooperation sy stem.At the same time,improve the international anti-corruption cooperation me chanism.In addition,the right to speak on international anti-corruption should be enhanced,social organizations should be encouraged to participate in internat ional anti-corruption cooperation,the construction and dissemination of a clean culture with Chinese characteristics should be implemented,and they should be deeply involved in global corruption governance.
