Research On Deng Xiaoping’s Diplomatic Thought And Its Contemporary Value

In terms of Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought,it has been the guide for China to formulate diplomatic strategies and conduct diplomatic activities since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,which is an important part of the diplomatic thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Besides,it is a systematic and complete ideological system formed by the second generation of leading collective of the Communist Party of China Central Committee with Deng Xiaoping as the core,which combines Marxism with China’s specific reality to deal with foreign relations.When it comes to Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought,it was put forward under the international background of peace and development becoming the theme of the times,the end of the bipolar pattern,the development of the world towards multipolarity,the strengthening of economic globalization,as well as the rapid development of science and technology.Moreover,it was formed under the domestic background that our party has summed up the experience and lessons of socialist construction,restored the party’s ideological line of seeking truth from facts,set things right,correctly understood China’s national conditions as well as embarked on a new journey of reform and opening up.There is no doubt that Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought has realized the theoretical innovation for the Chinese Communist Party’s diplomatic thought,which has provided an important regulation for China’s handling of international affairs during the period of reform and opening up.At the same time,it has laid a good theoretical foundation for the development of China’s diplomatic relations,which is also an important theoretical basis for the formation and development of Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thoughts.As a result,it has important significance for opening up a new situation of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.In this paper,it takes Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought as the research object,which uses scientific research methods to make an in-depth and systematic study of Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought on the basis of mastering the research status at home and abroad,thus achieving theoretical innovation.As for this paper,it is mainly divided into three parts,in which the first part elaborates the theoretical basis,background,formation and development process of Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought.In the second part,it systematically reveals the main contents of Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thoughts from the aspects of global strategic issues,peaceful diplomacy,the highest standards and basic principles of dealing with international relations,as well as the establishment of a new international political and economic order,which also summarizes the basic characteristics of the combination of historical inheritance and constant innovation,the combination of firm principle and flexibility of strategy,the combination of pragmatic feature and distinctive times,the combination of profound nationality and wide world,thus realizing the theoretical innovation.In the third part,it reveals the contemporary value of Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought innovatively,which promotes the enrichment and development of the diplomatic thoughts of the classical Marxist writers,lays the theoretical foundation for the formation of the diplomatic thoughts of socialism with Chinese characteristics,establishes the basic principles for China to deal with the international relations in the new era,thus having important theoretical value.On the other hand,it promotes the formation of a good external environment for the realization of the Chinese dream,and helps China to establish a responsible big country in the new era Image,which promotes the development of diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Thus,it can be seen that it has important practical value.
