Research On Discipline Building Of The CPC Since The 18th CPC National Congress

Discipline construction plays an important role in party building.Strengthening discipline is the unique advantage and glorious tradition of the CPC.It is an important reason for the party’s advancement and purity over the past 90 years.It is also an important guarantee for the CPC to keep ahead of The Times.Since the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),the CPC central committee has made a series of important arrangements for comprehensively exercising strict party governance.The CPC has always attached great importance to strengthening party discipline.This study makes full use of the position,viewpoints and methods of marxism and mainly explains the following basic contents:The first chapter discusses the theoretical origin and practical basis of CPC’s discipline construction since the 18 th CPC national congress.It is divided into three parts:the first is the content of the party’s discipline construction,mainly defining the concept of the party’s discipline construction and discussing the content of the party’s discipline construction;The second is to strengthen the theoretical foundation of the party’s discipline construction,which mainly summarizes the classical writers’ thoughts on the discipline construction of the proletarian party.The third is the practical basis for the CPC to strengthen discipline construction,which is divided into three stages: the period of democratic revolution,the period of socialist construction,and the period since the reform and opening up.The second chapter deals with the main achievements and basic experience of CPC’s discipline construction since the 18 th CPC national congress.The achievements in party discipline building since the 18 th CPC national congress are summarized as four aspects:forming new ideas,introducing new regulations,promoting new changes and innovating new measures.The basic experience is summarized as adhering to the leadership of the party,strictly enforcing political discipline,establishing and improving scientific rules and regulations,and strengthening supervision,enforcement and accountability.The third chapter deals with the challenges and problems of current discipline construction.At present the party’s discipline construction still has the insufficiency: the party member discipline consciousness is weak and the discipline education degree needs to improve;The disciplinary system needs to be further improved;The problem of insufficient executive power arises in discipline supervision and accountability.Therefore,to continue to promote the party’s discipline construction in the new era,we must adhere to the problem consciousness and problem orientation.The fourth chapter discusses the path of strengthening the party’s discipline construction in the new era.This paper probes into the ways to strengthen the party’s discipline construction in the new era from three parts: strengthening the party’s discipline education,establishing a scientific and standardized system and strengthening the party’s discipline supervision and inspection.
