Coupling And Coordination Between Urban-rural Construction Land Transition And Economic And Social Development In Banan District

With the rapid advancement of urbanization and industrialization,and urban-rural development transformation,the interaction between urban-rural construction land transition(URCLT)and economic and social development has continuously strengthened.Economic and social development has changed the way,structure and spatial pattern of land use.At the same time,URCLT reacts to the economic and social activities of human beings,changes the developing environment and affects the progress and quality of economic and social development.However,because of the rapid expansion of construction land and the special urban-rural dual structure system in China,the contradiction between human beings and land has been increasingly prominent,and the traditional mode of developing and extensive land use has seriously restricted the coordinated economic and social development.Banan district,one of the main districts in Chongqing,is in the critical period of rapid economic development,and it will be the main battlefield for urbanization and industrialization in the future.However,the structure and spatial layout of URCLT is unreasonable,and its utilization efficiency is low,meanwhile,the urban-rural economic gap is large,regional development is unbalanced,and resource and environmental constraints are tightening.Therefore,the research on the relationship between URCLT and economic and social development will help to solve the key problems of current ucoordinated urban-rural economic and social development,iprove the uilization efficiency of urban-rural construction land,promot sustainable and coordinated development.Taking 22 towns and streets in Banan district as the main research units,this paper describes the evolution characteristics and spatial pattern of URCLT and economic and social development of Bannan district from 1997 to 2017 through transition scale,transition range,transition velocity and relative rate of change first.Then,it analyzes the interaction mechanism between URCLT and economic and social development with the application of qualitative research method.Base on this,it describes the quantitative relationship between URCLT and economic and social development by Pearson correlation coefficient method,multiple linear regression model and spatial overlay analysis.Finaly,it constructs the evaluation index system and coupling relational model of URCLT and economic and social development,and explores the evolution characteristics and spatial pattern of comprehensive level and coupling coordination degree of Banan distrct from 1997 to 2017.Based on the problems of URCLT and economic and social development,this paper finds out the obstacles in the sustainable and coordinated development of Banan district,and puts forward the suggestions on the URCLT and economic and social development.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From 1997 to 2017,the transition range and transition velocity of urban construction land increased first and then decreased,and showed a high-speed rising trend Overall in Banan.Meanwhile,rural construction land showed slight fluctuation,and urban-rural construction land grew with the years at a smaller transition velocity.The most drastic transition areas were concentrated in the central urban area of the northwest corner and its expansion area;Sub-drastic areas distributed in the northeastern corner;generally drastic areas distributed in the southwest and south-central regions;the least drastic transition areas were the eastern region and extends to the southeast corner.The typical indexes of economic and social development all showed a rising trend.The maximum transition intensity of population urbanization rate was the central region;the transition intensity of GDP per capita in the western region was higher than that in the eastern region.The maximum transition intensity of the second and the third industries GDP proportion was south-central region;and the spatial distribution of total retail sales of consumer goods per capita is not obvious.(2)In terms of relationship,URCLT plays a supporting role in economic and social development,and economic and social development plays a driving role in URCLT.On the one hand,the market force,policy force and social force formed in the process of economic and social development jointly drive the comprehensive URCLT.On the other hand,urban-rural construction land gradually realizes the transformation from production function,carrying function to appreciating assets function in the process of URCLT,providing space support and material conditions for economic and social development.In regression analysis,the proportion of urban-rural construction land and urban construction land were positively correlated with GDP per capita and the second and the third industries GDP proportion,the proportion of rural construction land was negatively correlated with population urbanization rate,the second and the third industries GDP proportion,and the total retail sales of consumer goods per capita.In spatial overlay analysis,different towns and streets showed different matching degree and function relationship,part of the matching showed the synchronous and efficient development state,part of the matching showed the maladjustment state.(3)From 1997 to 2017,the comprehensive level of URCLT decreased first and then increased,gradually improved from the lower-middle level to the middle level in Banan.Meanwhile,the efficiency transition and functional transition level on the comprehensive level of transition showed a more significant inpact.In spatial distribution,the comprehensive level of URCLT dispersed first and then gathered,and its spatial homogeneity gradually enhanced,and the high-value region of comprehensive level gradually shifted to the northwest along the northwest-southeast trend.The comprehensive level of economic social development continued to grow,but the overall level was still low.The improvement of economic development level and social living standard subsystems played a greater role in the promotion of comprehensive level.In spatial distribution,the comprehensive level of economic social development showed a gradual enhancement in heterogeneity,and it has the characteristics of global differentiation and local convergence.Meanwhile,Banan’s economic construction focused on the northwestern region and it gradually formed the development pattern of higher level in northwest corner,middle level in northwest region,lower level in southwest corner and eastern region.(4)From 1997 to 2017,the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree between URCLT and economic and social development continued to improve in Banan.However,the overall coordinated development level was still low,and showed a significant polarization and spatial differentiation.The high-value region of coupling degree gradually expanded from the northwest corner to the central region along the northwest-southeast trend,and eventually gathered in the northwest region.The high-value region of coupling coordination degree always concentrated in the northwest region,and was much lager than that of other regions.The economic belt of the central urban area with moderately coordinated development showed the lgged type of URCLT;the expanding area of central district with secondary level of coordinated development showed the synchronized development type.Mudong town in Maliu River Development Zone showed the synchronized type of low coordinated development;Maliuzui town and Shuanghekou town showed the profit-loss type of moderately imbalanced economic and social development.Some towns and streets showed the profit-loss type of moderately imbalanced economic and social development,and another showed the synchronized profit-loss type in the south-central and eastern regions.(5)The economic belt of the central urban area should continuously improve the quality of urban construction,strengthen the management of refined cities,and realize the coordinated development between the comprehensive benefits of urban construction land and urban construction and economic growth.The expanding area of central district should continuously improve the infrastructure construction work,optimize the structure and layout of urban construction land,and realize the coordinated development between the rational expansion of urban construction land scale and population,economic growth and industrial adjustment.Maliu River Development Zone should continuously increase investment and construction efforts to achieve the coordinated development between the rational expansion,optimized layout of urban and rural construction land and industrial upgrading and economic growth.The ecological leisure economic zone should continuously increase policy inclination and counterpart support,appropriately invest in urban construction land,strengthen the consolidation of rural construction land,and achieve the coordinated development between urban and rural construction land efficiency and industrial prosperity,collective economy to generate revenue and increase efficiency.
