Nursing Home Catering Service Design Based On SAPAD

At present,China is facing the severe problem of aging and aging.In China’s old-age service system,the old-age care institutions still occupy an important position and role,and the diet of nursing homes is often one of the most important factors for the elderly and their families to choose nursing homes.This project uses the SAPAD framework(Semiotic Approach to Product Architecture Design)to analyze and reconstruct the current nursing home catering services to achieve the purpose of rebuilding and redesigning the service system.Through on-the-spot investigation and analysis,we sort out the behaviors in the multi-stakeholder process and establish the task structure of the catering service process.The SAPAD framework is used to analyze the meaning of user behavior from six levels,and cluster analysis is carried out for each layer.Linking the core meaning of the diet service of nursing homes from a systematic perspective,it is found that the core meaning of the elderly is to reduce the number of interruptions and get a satisfactory meal;the caregiver is convenient and quick to pack meals,correct statistics and quick reports;It is convenient to store meals,get information on the number of meals,make delicious meals to satisfy the elderly;management is to meet the nutritional needs of the elderly,announcement menu information;family members get menu information.According to the mapping result of the core meaning and the functional layer function module,the key contacts corresponding to the core meaning are extracted,and the functional modules are reorganized to obtain five new functional modules: efficient service module,meal supply module,and meal information provision.Module,reasonable meal supply module,menu information feedback module.Finally,five new functional modules were proposed for centralized processing of lunch boxes,unified lunch boxes,form reports,a small number of dishes,and a menu program to push a total of five design plans and design strategies.On the theoretical level,this topic enriches the SAPAD framework to the application research of complex service systems and other service design fields that need to comprehensively consider multi-party requirements,and improves the analysis of multistakeholder “behavior-meaning-function modules” in SAPAD framework.The framework provides a reference for the SAPAD framework application in the design of other complex service systems.At the practical level,it proposes practical design schemes rather than vague measures;providing theoretical and research framework references for improving the entire service system of nursing homes is conducive to promoting the transformation of China’s old-age service industry and accelerating the construction of China’s old-age service system.
