A Study Of Community Governance Of Multi-ethnic Community In The City

As China enters a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,profound changes are taking place in economic structure,interest appeal,social structure,ideology and other aspects.The report of the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)pointed out that the major contradiction in China’s society has been transformed into the contradiction between the people’s growing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.In this context,as a cell of urban,functions and objectives of communities are changing,and the governance of urban multi-ethnic communities,which shoulder the functions of urban governance and building harmonious ethnic relations,has also entered a new stage.With the continuous progress of urbanization,social mobility is further enhanced,and members of ethnic groups choose to move to cities in order to pursue greater interests,which makes urban grassroots communities more and more diverse.Different ethnic members have different needs for the community they live in,the governance system of multi-ethnic communities is not perfect,and the unbalanced and inadequate development of public services are the specific manifestations of the major social contradictions in the multi-ethnic communities in cities.This also puts forward new and higher requirements for urban multi-ethnic community governance.In the light of the concrete problems and facing the national relationship status,multi-ethnic communities in the city have been advancing with the times to explore effective governance mechanism,and achieved good results: first,urban multi-ethnic community organization system has been gradually perfect.Second,the governance organization has been developed from single to multiple.Third,community nationalwork gradually deepened.Last,community public service has made great improvement.At the same time,we should also realize that the governance of multi-ethnic communities in the city still exist many problems: Insufficient space for the development of minority culture;The development of multi-ethnic communities is restricted by the insufficiency of inter-ethnic communication and the wrong influence of inter-ethnic groups.The main reasons for these problems are as follow: first,the system of community governance needs to be improved.Second,the governance ability of urban multi-ethnic community governance subject is insufficient.Third,community environment construction needs to be strengthened.Last,the influence of historical and traditional factors on the community.Therefore,to realize the modernization of urban multi-ethnic community governance system,it is necessary to further promote urban multi-ethnic community governance from the aspects of system construction,subject construction,environment construction and emotional construction.The second is to strengthen and improve the construction of multi-ethnic community system and norms,accelerate the legal process of urban multi-ethnic communities and improve the relevant systems of community governance;Third,we should pay attention to the cultivation of the multi-subject ability of the community,give full play to the governance initiative of each subject to the greatest extent,and pay attention to the coordination of relations between each governance subject.Fourthly,it is to build the community environment of mutual inlay of nationalities so that the different national cultures in the community can develop fully.Fifth,promote the emotional construction of multi-ethnic communities in cities,give full play to the positive role of people and emotions in community operation,improve the efficiency of community operation,promote the benign interaction between members of different ethnic groups,,strengthen the construction of moral norms of urban multi-ethnic communities,and improve the sense of community belonging of members of different ethnic groups in communities.Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,promote the urban multi-ethnic community governance,can make the members of different ethnic groups,especially minority members better integrated into the city,it is not only beneficial to the maintenance and development of equality,unity,mutual aid and harmonious socialist national relations and enhance the sense of belonging and well-being of members of different ethnic groups,but also can stimulate the vitality and creativity of grass-roots society in our country,promote the construction and development of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics.
