Study On Living Situation And Influence Factors Of Elderly People Living In Private And Small-sized Pension Institutions

With the coming of aged tendency of population and its constantly aggravating of our country,more elderly people,more requirement for pension institutions.In order to explore living situation of elderly people who living in pension institutions,strengthen happiness of later life.This paper takes ten private and small-sized pension institutions in Dongchang District,Tonghua City as examples,bases on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,social support theory and social implant theory,uses literature review method,depth interview method and questionnaire survey method,surrounding living state in agencies,open questions,influence factors to develop research.This paper thinks that fundamental state of elderly people,psychological and spiritual comfort of elderly people,size and condition of pension institutions and specialized service level of institution personnel are main factors for influencing living quality.According to states,reasons and factors,this paper puts out these measures: dredging mental health of elderly people,using resources of offspring and relatives and strengthening existence;improving environment and condition of pension institutions,enhancing level and ability of service personnel;our country providing policy and fund support,using new media and multiple channels to propagate to love and respect the old.This paper is devided into four parts as follow:The first part,introduction,it expounds the research background,research methods,relevant concepts,theoretical basis and summary of research of development of pension institutions and living state of elderly people of this paper;The second part,taking pension institutions in Dongchang District,Tonghua City as example,it expounds the distribution and scale of pension institutions,the state and problems of elderly people who living in pension institutions;The third part,through the state and problems,analyzing the reasons of effecting their living standard;The forth part,according to state,problems and reasons,putting forward suggestions of improving the living standard who living in pension institutions,providing them a nice sunset.
