| Outside the government and market,nonprofits play an important role in social services and governance,but their sources of funds are single,the external dependence is high,the development power is insufficient,the short term effect is prominent,and the disadvantages of the inefficient operation are becoming more and more prominent.How to achieve the goal of social interest and financial sustainability has become the concern of all parties.As an organization with both social mission and economic mission,social enterprises emerge in this situation,Based on the question of whether social enterprises have mission drift and what factors are working,the author went deep into social enterprises in C city to find possible answers,collected data through questionnaires with interviews,as well as field observations,and analyzed the problem based on the APC evaluation(accountability,performance and organizational capacity)system.The results show that there is a possibility of "mission drift" in social enterprises.Among the evaluation indicators: a.the degree of information disclosure related to social services in the accountability indicators;b.The satisfaction degree of beneficiary groups in performance indicators with service activities;c.Organizational capability indicators have a significant impact on the "mission drift" of social enterprises.The research on mission drift of social enterprises is a topic of great research value,and the following purposes are achieved through this research: On the one hand to further promote the research on the theme of social enterprises in China;On the other hand,it can better promote social enterprises to stick to and practice their social mission in the process of development and promote the improvement and development of social enterprises.As a new subject providing social services,social enterprises should be considered in the future research on its connotation and extension,as well as its development process and exit mechanism. |
