| In recent years,international terrorism has become increasingly rampant,posing a serious threat to people’s lives and property and the stable development of society.Urban railway station,as an important infrastructure and often a crowded place,is an important target for terrorists to carry out terrorist attacks.Different from the traditional security & protection system which sets up a closed zone for protection,the train station can not be analyzed by the traditional vulnerability analysis method,because the periphery of it is in an open area.This paper aims to find ways to analyze the vulnerability of security & protection systems in highrisk open areas,and then propose improvement measures to upgrade the system.On the basis of reviewing the literature and field research,this paper analyzed the vulnerability of the open area of security & protection system of the railway station qualitatively and quantitatively through the establishment of the vulnerability index system and the Agent simulation model,found out the vulnerability of the system in the face of terrorist attacks,and proposed targeted optimization solutions.The open area of a railway station was selected as the research object,and the features of security & protection system facilities,flow distribution and security forces of it were investigated.Through threat analysis,it was determined that the main methods of terrorist attacks against the open areas of the railway station were knife axe slashes and bomb attacks.Through expert consultation and repeated screening,the vulnerability index system of the security & protection system for preventing terrorist attacks in the open areas of railway stations was established.It was determined that the vulnerability of the security & protection system is decided by three primary indicators: civil defense,physical defense and technical defense.The three primary indexes were subdivided into twelve secondary indexes.The analytic hierarchy process is used to calculate the weight of each index in the index system,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to analyze the vulnerability of the Security & protection system of the railway station.According to the analysis,the security inspection system,patrol alert prevention and control system and video monitoring system have the greatest impact on the vulnerability of the security & protection system.It was found that the vulnerability of the Security & protection system of the railway station is between "serious" and " common",and further improvement of the protection capability is needed.The Anylogic simulation software was used to construct the simulation model of the knife axe attack and human bomb attack.And north square of the railway station and the densely populated area of the second basement were simulated.Through the index analysis and simulation analysis,it was found that knife axe slashes at the North Square Bus Station and near the spiral ramp and human bomb attacks at the intersection of the north side of the second floor will have serious consequences due to weak security forces,insufficient security inspections,unreasonable guardrail settings and lack of planning in security & protection systems such as escape and evacuation entrances and exits.These shortcomings made the railway station vulnerable in the face of terrorist attacks.Therefore,optimization schemes concerning about civil defense,physical defense and technical defense,including optimization of guard distribution,opening of entrances and exits,outward migration of security check procedures,and enhancement of safety publicity and education were put forward to solve these problems.These schemes are expected to have certain reference value for improving the prevention ability of the security & protection system in the open area of railway stations. |
