How to develop and apply the Red Culture Resources is not a new proposition for the colleges.But how to develop and apply the Red Culture Resources’ new time’s value is a problem long-term.The Red Culture Resources is the carrier of red culture.It is a relic of history that CPC led Chinese people in New Democratic Revolution,socialist construction and reform and opening-up.It has both material and spiritual significance.It records the historical process of sinicization of marxism,condenses the outlook on life and values of revolutionary ancestors,represents the mark of inspiring young people to work hard,and inherits the gene of the excellent tradition of the Chinese nation.The four connotations of red cultural resources are highly consistent with the objectives of the party’s propaganda and ideological work of "raising the banner,gathering the people’s mind,educating the youth and promoting culture".Therefore,the application of the red culture resources to the propaganda and ideological work in colleges is an inevitable action to establish cultural self-confidence among young students and further develop the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Any work should be carried out in a clear way,so should propaganda and ideological work.Relying on the red culture resources to carry out ideological propaganda work in colleges.Based on the content,form and characteristics of the red culture resources,an effective education path should be developed,which can be specifically carried out from the aspects of the course teaching system in colleges and universities,the practical teaching system in colleges and universities,and the construction of campus culture.However,in the new media era,the development of red cultural resources in colleges is faced with the double test of the lack of internal theoretical support and external good environment,and even the phenomenon of "stigmatization and entertainment" of red classics.In order for the resources of red culture to play the role of propagating marxist thought and socialist culture withChinese characteristics and guiding the shaping of young students’ ideology,it is necessary to form a work system of propagating and thinking around the resources of red culture in colleges.For the investigation of the situation of using the red culture resources in colleges and universities,the author selected a number of colleges and universities in Shanghai for the empirical research,through the college students’ basic cognitive situation assessment of red culture resources to the overall effect of the propaganda and ideological work in colleges and universities,to understand the red culture resources through different ways into the propaganda and ideological work of differences,grasp the students’ subjective attitude.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the development and utilization of the red culture resources in colleges,and what successful experiences are worth using for reference.On the basis of the questionnaire,teachers are interviewed according to the survey results.As a result,there are several problems in the application of red culture resources in colleges.Students and teachers of red culture resources generally lack of understanding,curriculum teaching system in the lack of deep research in the theory of red culture,red theme practice calls for higher but difficult a lot of practice,student party members and the student party members to accept the red culture education opportunity is not balanced,historical nihilism in the student groups have produced negative effects.Based on theoretical analysis and empirical research,the author,in order to carry out propaganda and ideological work in colleges centering on the red culture resources,puts forward the following three Suggestions from the main body of schools,teachers and society:1.The propaganda and ideological work in colleges should focus on the propaganda carrier of red culture resources,build up a virtuous circle system of "ideological guidance--practical education--perfect system",and realize the scientific and standardized use of red culture resources to carry outideological propaganda work.2.Ideological and political workers and teachers of relevant courses can most directly contact with the student groups and know the students’ ideological trends and interest direction.They should always uphold the students’ main idea and innovate the publicity and education methods of red culture resources.3.It is not only the task of colleges but also the social responsibility to cultivate new people in the socialist era.Social forces such as red stadiums,patriotic education bases and research bases should take the responsibility of cultivating socialist talents actively and cooperate with colleges and universities to guarantee the utilization of red cultural resources,so as to promote the sustainability and long-term application of red cultural resources in the all-round education system of colleges and universities.
