The post internship of the students in public security institutions is a process for the students to carry out their internship in the positions of the actual combat units.It is a test of the students' practical ability and an effective way to cultivate the required talents for the public security system.Research on student internship management can understand students' learning status and progress,and grasp the problems and shortcomings of students in time.It has great significance for students to develop good learning habits and improve their comprehensive abilities.In carrying out internships,improving students' mastery of skills and improving their quality is an important part of management research in post practice.From the perspective of performance management,this paper uses its theory and method,through the questionnaire survey,interview and other empirical research,combined with literature research on the design process and student management of the post practice,and puts forward some problems in the current public security colleges and universities in the post internship,and puts forward the advantages of the relevant theories and methods.The countermeasures and suggestions for student internship will be applied to the design and guidance of student internships in public security colleges.This article is divided into six parts:The first part,starting with the background and the purpose of the research,expounds the research on performance management,public sector performance management and the practice and training of police at home and abroad at home and abroad.This article is based on the related theories and methods of performance management,and uses the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and literature analysis.This paper clarifies the related concepts and theories of the management in the post internship of the students in public security colleges and universities,and expounds the current situation of the students in the post practice,the basic situation of the students,the effect of practice,the relevant regulations and the public security institutions and practice units.The present situation in the management of the students,combined with the author's personal experience for many years,an empirical analysis of the deficiencies in the management of the students in the post internship in the public security institutions,and points out the existing problems in the design of the internship,the management of the students and the application of the results,and for the post internship of the students in the public security colleges and universities.Management has put forward some opinions and suggestions to better promote the management of post practice.The second part introduces the relevant concepts of the post internship for the students in public security colleges and universities,and introduces the related performance management theory,process and methods,as the theoretical basis for this study.The third part introduces the current situation of student internships and their management in public security colleges,and expounds the research process.The fourth part analyzes the shortcomings of the process and management of Public Security College Students in post practice,The main features are: first,performance objectives set deviation,including the performance objectives are not clear,the performance goal setting is not standardized,the performance objectives are lack of incentive provisions;two,the performance management process control is not in place,including the performance management main body and responsibility of unknown,emphasis on practice evaluation,lack of effective communication;three,performance assessment is not scientific,Including the lack of scientific performance evaluation indicators,performance assessment forms and methods are relatively simple;four,the lack of performance feedback link;five,theperformance evaluation results are not fully applied.The fifth part elaborated the related countermeasures to improve the police college students' internship,and put forward some useful suggestions.The main aspects are: 1.Strengthen the performance management feed forward control,including strengthening organization construction,defining performance goals,setting up incentive mechanism;two,strengthening practice process control,including strengthening performance communication and strengthening supervision guarantee;three,using scientific design evaluation method,recommending 360 degree evaluation method and behavior anchoring method;four,strengthening Performance feedback and results application.The sixth part is the conclusion.
