Research On Mixed-type Elderly Community Developing Pattern

Nowadays,Chinese society has stepped into the accelerated development stage of aging.Urban empty-nesters,elderly people who live alone,and disabled elderly gradually increased.Meanwhile,more and more young old people with better health,complete self-care and the pursuit of quality of life have joined the group.As a result,the existing endowment model can’t solve the demand of the above group,thus,it becomes an urgent to explore the new mode of the elderly community.This dissertation takes the social phenomenon of aging problem as the breakthrough point,based on the theories of urban diversity,as well as theory of the elderly social participation and related endowment policies in recent years.Combined successful experiences overseas,Summarized domestic existing endowment community,Based on the questionnaire survey result of endowment demand,the development model of urban mixed-type elderly community has been proposed,which mainly takes young active old people and elderly empty-nesters as the core service target.This mode advocates the whole process continuing care service concept,which is an integration of multiple functions such as aging housing,life care,health care,pension health,spiritual comfort,health,culture,education,catering entertainment.Not only it can solve the aging housing problem of young active old people and elderly empty-nesters,enjoy warm continuing caring,but also can enhance the elderly sense of security and belonging.The results of this study not only enrich the related theory of mixed-type elderly community development,but also provide meaningful reference for the development practice in Chinese cities.
