Study On Factors Affecting The Quality Of Life Of Elderly People Living Alone In Public Rental Housing

With the development of real estate economy and the rapid rise of housing prices,housing has become a major difficulty for most wage earners and low-income groups.especially the low-income elderly,want to take root in big cities,apply for public rental housing has become the choice of most elderly people who have no housing and no ability to buy houses.Moreover,with the aging of the population,more and more elderly people apply for public rental housing,especially empty nesters and elderly people living alone.How to let these groups spend their old age in public rental housing community safely and improve the quality of life in their old age is very important.This paper takes the elderly living alone in public rental housing community as the research object,adopts the method of combining quantity and quality,and conducts field research on C public rental housing community and M public rental housing community in Chongqing.The quality of life of the elderly living alone in public rental housing community was assessed by the WHOQOL-BERF Quality of Life Scale in the four fields of physiology,psychology,social relations and environment.Statistical software spss21.0 was used to establish the database.According to the three systems of ecosystem theory,namely micro-system,meso-system and macro-system,the influencing factors of the quality of life of the elderly living alone in public rental houses are divided into four levels: individual,social interaction,family and community.Then,with physiological,psychological,social relations,environment and overall quality of life as dependent variables,and individual factors,social interaction factors,family factors and community environmental factors as independent variables,hierarchical regression analysis is carried out,and regression model is established,so as to screen out the main factors affecting the physiological,psychological,social relations and environmental quality of life of the elderly living alone,and to understand the urban area of Chongqing.The quality of life of the elderly living alone and its influencing factors.The results of data analysis show that the main factors affecting the physical quality of life of the elderly living alone in public rental housing community are: individual factors(self-care,chronic diseases),social interaction factors(communication with neighbors and friends),family factors(number of children,frequency of communication with children),community factors(housing conditions);and the main factors affecting the psychological quality of life of the elderly living alone.The main factors affecting the quality of life in social relations of the elderly living alone are: individual factors(age,monthly income,living self-care,chronic diseases),social interaction factors(frequency of interaction with neighbors and friends),and environmental health of the elderly living alone.The main factors of quality of life are: individual factors(monthly income,self-care situation,chronic diseases),community factors(different community conditions,housing conditions).The main factors affecting the overall quality of life of the elderly living alone are: individual factors(monthly income,self-care degree,chronic diseases),social factors(frequency of communication with neighbors and friends),community factors.(Housing conditions).The key factors affecting the physical,psychological,social relations and environmental quality of life of the elderly living alone are also the key factors affecting the overall quality of life of the elderly living alone.Finally,according to its influencing factors,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the quality of life of the elderly living alone in public rental housing community from the aspects of government,community,family and individuals.
