| The poverty of single-mother families in cities has become increasingly prominent.With the continuous development of China’s urbanization process,the social and family structure has gradually diversified,the urban divorce rate has been rising,and the number of single-parent families has increased significantly.Urban single-mothers account for the vast majority of urban single-parent families formed for a variety of reasons.In reality,more than half of urban single-mother families are in poverty,they are becoming one of the growing major groups of the urban poverty,the poverty of urban single-mother family has become a major problem in the governance of urban poverty,has attracted the attention of the government and all sectors of the society.The thesis is composed of five parts,the first part is the introduction,the content includes the research background of the thesis,the purpose and significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,research methods and research innovation points.The second part,the definition of related concepts and the interpretation of theoretical connotations.This paper defines the concept of poverty,single parent family,urban single-mother family and expounds the connotation of Putnam’s social capital theory from three aspects of trust,reciprocal social norms and citizen participation network.The third part,urban single mother family poverty situation and problems.On the basis of questionnaire survey and interview,this paper summarizes the poverty situation of single-mother families in S city,and summarizes the main problems of family poverty in urban single mothers.The fourth part is about the causes of family poverty in single mothers in cities.In the view of the theory of social capital,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the causes of family poverty in urban single mothers,which is mainly summed up as the imperfection of laws and regulations,the lack of social trust of single-mother families,and the lack of a wide range of social participation networks in three aspects.The fifth part,the urban single-mothers family poverty problem governance path.Through the comprehensive analysis and consideration of the causes,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to solve the problem of family poverty in urban single mothers from three angles,perfecting laws and regulations,cultivating the social trust of the families of single mothers in cities,and constructing the social participation network of urban single-mother families’ poverty management.This paper uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method to summarize the current situation of single mother family poverty in X community on sufficient investigations and surveys.From the point of view of social capital theory,this paper analyzes the causes of poverty in urban single-mother families,and puts forward some ideas and policy suggestions aimed at promoting the effective solution of the problem of poverty in urban single-mother family.Solving the problem of urban single mother poverty is a complex and arduous task,which requires the concerted efforts of many governments,from the perspective of social capital theory,from a new perspective,to expand the special study on family poverty of single mothers in cities,and to explore new ways to control the problem of family poverty in urban single mothers,for the effective management of urban poverty,the profound implementation of precision poverty al eviation policy is of great significance. |
