Social Work Intervention In The Community Participation For The Urban Retired Elderly People

At present,China has entered an age of population aging.With the deepening of aging,the proportion of the elderly population in the total population will also become larger and larger.How to reasonably arrange the old age of the elderly group is the country and The society urgently needs to think and solve problems.The community is the main place for the elderly to live and move after retirement.It is a feasible way to solve this problem from the community.If we can make the community of the elder-ly's daily life more beautiful,harmonious,warm and interesting,and let the old people fully participate in the rich and colorful activities of the community,then this will be of great benefit to improving the quality of life of the elderly in their later years.This study is based on the theory of activity,active aging theory and the theory of dominant perspective.Taking the L community in Hefei as an example,100 retired people aged 50 and over were selected as research objects.Through the literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,we can understand the community participation status of the elderly in the L community and the influencing factors of community participation.The study found that the community participation frequency of retired people in L community is generally not high,and the content of community participation is relatively simple.The main activities are cultural activities,and the initiative and participation willingness of community participation also need to be improved.The factors affecting the community participation of the retired elderly in the L community are diverse,including individuals,families and communities.Community involvement,participation,physical condition and personal interest of the retired elderly are important factors influencing community participation;family is mainly affected by intergenerational support and family economic conditions;community influence factors include community activities Propaganda,funding for community activities,professionalism and attitudes of community workers,and community work patterns.Although there are still many shortcomings in the community participation of the elderly in the L community,it is worth noting that most of the elderly are more or less involved in community affairs,and some elderly people can actively participate in the community according to their own interests and hobbies.Activities and various teams go.In the course of the research,the author,guided by the social work theory,combined with the current community participation status and the existing resources of the community,worked with the community staff to design a practical activity to promote the participation of the elderly community,and tried to improve the working style in practice.And activities to help retired people better engage in community participation.The research shows that through the work of individual cases,group work and community work,the participation consciousness and participation enthusiasm of the community retired people are significantly improved,and they are more willing to actively participate in community affairs;the social worker intervention activities enrich the retirement life of the elderly and enhance the retirement between the elderly The connection has expanded the social circle of the elderly and can effectively help the elderly adapt to retirement.At present the activities carried out by community organizations basically meet the participation needs of the community retired elderly,but there are also some problems in community participation:the community participation consciousness and participation ability of the retired elderly are insufficient;the channels of community participation are not smooth,the participation form is single;the communication between community organizations Insufficient,lack of trust;lack of funds for community participation and serious loss of community workers.In response to the above problems,at the end of the article,the author proposes some suggestions for promoting the participation of the retired elderly community from activities,community organizations,government and social level:enhancing the participation of retired elderly people and improving their participation ability;unblocking community communication channels,innovating participation content;strengthening community organizations Communicate and collaborate;link multiple resources and strive for support from all parties.Through the research on the community participation of the retired elderly in the L community in Hefei City,it is hoped that not only can the participation level of the elderly in the L community be improved,but also the accumulation of materials for the future social work intervention in the community participation of the elderly,and it can also cause reflections from the community workers.Recognizing the value of social work in serving the elderly,the professional approach to social work has become a booster for improving community participation in older people.
