Under the background of new media context,the new media of government affairs,professional media and self-media have formed a three-pronged trend in the field of network.The relationship between the development of new media of government affairs and the release of government affairs information and emergency handling is getting closer.As the government’s service target,the people’s new media use experience and information satisfaction are particularly important.Therefore,this paper chooses the public perspective to analyze the relationship between the use of new media and information satisfaction.This paper examines the current situation of the use of new media in government affairs through questionnaires,including the frequency of use,purpose of use,methods of use,channels of use,experience of use,etc.,to explore the reasons that affect the use of new media in public affairs.The study found that the new government media is the channel for information acquisition after the media and professional media.Although the current use of government new media does not occupy the dominant position of the society,it has begun to take shape;the highly educated youth network is active.Molecules are more inclined to use the new media experience of government;understanding important local information,paying attention to my industry dynamics and facilitating services is the primary concern of government new media users;compared with other information acquisition methods and channels,government new media has Strong authority and pertinence,in the handling of emergencies,has the advantage that other media does not have.In order to further make up for the shortcomings of quantitative research,the author conducted in-depth interviews with some people on the use of new media and information satisfaction.The interview results show that under the influence of media advantages,cognition and demonstration and normative trends,government affairs Weibo’s popularity is the highest;people’s government new media usage habits have three stages: pre-event information expectation,information interaction and post-event use effect.The use of each stage will affect the final information satisfaction level;In the face of events and different times,people’s information satisfaction needs are biased differently.Once they are not properly grasped,they will reduce the satisfaction of people’s use.Therefore,understanding the use of new media in government affairs is critical to analyzing information satisfaction.From the overall situation,the needs of the people in the process of using newmedia in government are basically satisfied,and the degree of information satisfaction is generally good.In the accumulation of experience in doing practical things for a long time,the new media of government affairs has attracted a fixed base of fans.Although the size of the audience cannot be compared with professional media and self-media,the credibility advantage in the handling of emergencies is also very obvious.It is worth noting that if government departments fail to understand the concerns of the people in dealing with emergencies,the problems of unclear attitude,slow response,and inefficient work will all reduce the credibility that has been established for many years.It is also an aspect that government affairs new media needs to pay attention to in the future.
