Research On Social Work Involved In The Special Care For Elderly Demobilized Soldiers

Military construction as a national security guarantee,all countries have always attached great importance to it.Chinese culture has a history of five thousand years,whether dynasties rise or decline is accompanied by military materials policy changes.、Preferential treatment for ex-servicemen,social security for ex-servicemen and other services have been constantly improved in the course of historical development.At present,a relatively complete set of service system for retired soldiers has been formed in China.As a special existence of special care for soldiers,the role of demobilized soldiers should not be neglected.Soldiers protect the country from foreign aggression,and demobilized soldiers will directly affect the development and stability of the country.It is an important measure to ensure the stability of the country and the harmony of the society to do a good job in the work of special care for demobilized soldiers.In recent years,the preferential care system for demobilized soldiers has been constantly improved in China.At the 13 th National People’s Congress in 2018,for the first time,a resolution to establish a new ministry of veterans affairs was passed.In April of the same year,the ministry of veterans affairs of the People’s Republic of China was formally established in Beijing.In order to support the national policy,then Shenzhen established the demobilized soldiers workstations step by step,including municipal level,district level,street level and community level.The workstation recruits social workers for special care service for demobilized soldiers,helping demobilized soldiers to solve difficulties,explore themselves and achieve development.This paper takes Pingshan street of Shenzhen city as an example.This project USES literature research method,participatory observation method and questionnaire survey method to study,and shows the existing problems and needs of the elderly demobilized soldiers in pingshan street and the causes of the problems from a micro perspective.In addition,this paper describes how social workers use professional knowledge and technology to intervene in elderly demobilized soldiers in specific activities.Finally,the project is summarized and evaluated according to the results of the activities.
