Research On The Age Friendliness Of The Elderly Social Welfare Institute

With the advent of an aging society,the development of elderly care institutions has gradually attached importance to the construction of age friendliness.As part of the institutional pension,the development of the elderly social welfare institution should be consistent with it.However,there are few studies on the current status of age friendlines social welfare institutions,most of them focus on hardware facilities and equipment for research,and lack of research on professional services and management specification of welfare institutions.From the perspective of social work,this paper mainly uses the interview method and the participatory observation method to take the elderly group of the welfare institution as the main research object.Through the analysis of the current age friendliness status of the welfare institutions,professional services and management practices.It is found that the welfare institutions are currently lacking in outdoor environmental facilities,system equipment,mental and psychological needs services,and flexibility in management practices.Analyze the reasons for the lack of age friendliness from the aspects of the design of the age friendliness,the service staffing,the elderly group and the organization management.Then,in view of the problems faced by the old facilities of the welfare facilities,the paper puts forward some solutions from the aspects of building the old-age construction of the housing and improving the application of the indoor space.In response to the problem of lack of age friendliness in the personal service of professional services,the elderly social workers are involved in the service,respectively,to break the individual’s negative and old-age mentality,build a communication bridge between the elderly and the elderly,and guide the benign between the elderly and the staff.Interaction is the path to enhance the interaction between individuals and the collective,and guide the healthy development of the elderly.In view of the lack of management requirements and services in the elderly rooms of welfare homes,from the perspective of positive and appropriate age,it proposes a solution to establish a public agreement on flexibility in units of rooms.Finally,the age friendliness of elderly social welfare institutions still needs long-term construction to improve the quality of elderly life.
