A Study On The Protection Of Yi Culture In Meigu County Under The Background Of Targeted Poverty Alleviation

Targeted poverty alleviation has been carried out in an orderly manner across the country,and the impact is far-reaching.It has a particularly great influence on unity and progress among ethnic groups.As we all know,regions inhabited by ethnic groups are the key targets of targeted poverty alleviation.In order to ensure that regions inhabited by ethnic groups achieve an all-round well-to-do society at the same time,the state will fully mobilize the positive forces of central,developed regions and regions inhabited by ethnic groups to accelerate the pace of poverty alleviation and striving for a relatively comfortable life in regions inhabited by ethnic groups.In the final stage of the process of targeted poverty alleviation,the author focuses on how to make coordinated development of local economy and Yi culture,how to develop the economy of Yi people while taking into consideration of the protection and inheritance of Yi culture,and how to develop a way of scientific development with Chinese characteristics and local Yi features.The author believes that it is necessary to focus on the Chinese dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and re-examine the influence and development of the Yi culture protection in the process of targeted poverty alleviation.Stay true to the mission and remain firm in carrying forward and protecting Yi culture.Enhance the vitality and influence of the excellent Yi culture.The excellent part of the traditional cultural practices should be protected and passed down.Those parts that are incompatible with modern production and lifestyles,and those that impede economic and cultural development should be proposed to be abandoned gradually.The culture and custom which have obviously become a restrictive factor that hinders the development of regions inhabited by Yi people must be revised and perfected through the correct guidance of the government.Its negative impact on Yi people's production and lifestyle should be avoided as much as possible,and it should be prevented from being the source of the poverty of Yi people.Therefore,this paper proposes three suggestions for combining targeted poverty alleviation with traditional Yi cultural protection.First,strengthen the government-led protection system for Yi culture;second,raise the awareness of grassroots cadres and Yi people in respect of cultural protection;third,strive for social forces to strengthen propaganda and promote cultural protection.Because only when these three aspects are closely linked,the functions of “Helping the poor” and “Helping the intellect”,“Helping the poor” and “Shaking off poverty”,“Blood-transmitting”and “Blood producing”can be brought into full play.Through the study on the protection of Yi culture in the process of targeted poverty alleviation,the inner motivation of Yi people to shake off poverty and become prosperous should be stimulated,fundamentally solving poverty problems in the regions inhabited by ethnic groups and poverty-returning phenomenon.It will contribute to the ultimate goal of poverty eradication in 2020,promote the mutual development of economic development in regions inhabited by ethnic groups and the cultural protection of Yi people,achieving social stability and people's well-being in regions inhabited by ethnic people.
