Research On Government Governance Of Traffic Congestion

Changchun City is an important central city in Northeast China,with earlier urbanization and higher levels.Coupled with its famous “city of cars”,the problem of road traffic congestion in Changchun City is naturally more serious.In the “Report on the traffic analysis of major cities in China in the third quarter of 2017”,the degree of congestion in Changchun ranks in the top ten in the country,ranking seventh.Urban traffic congestion will reduce efficiency,waste energy and resources,and seriously affect people's daily life.The Changchun municipal government has adopted different measures in managing traffic congestion,but it cannot effectively solve the problem of traffic congestion in the long term.And it also appears many problems in the governance of traffic congestion problems such as: insufficient awareness of governance,a single governance means,lack of public participation and a series of issues.Government governance for urban traffic congestion issues needs our attention.We must consider and integrate many factors from an overall perspective.In this context,this article focuses on the government governance problem of urban traffic congestion in the country,and selects Changchun City as an example.It adopts a research and analysis method for the current state of urban traffic congestion governance and makes reasonable suggestions accordingly.This article starts with basic concepts such as urban traffic and traffic congestion,introduces the definition of traffic congestion and the harm it brings.At the same time,it refers to public goods,government governance and other relevant theories to interpret this issue theoretically.Second,Based on the traffic and traffic congestion situation in Changchun City,the Changchun municipal government has taken measures in the treatment of urban traffic jams to find out the problems that occurred in the process of governance.Finally,it used the experience of domestic and foreign government departments in managing urban traffic congestion to target Changchun.The government's governance of the city's traffic jams made reasonable recommendations to try to ease the chronic problems of traffic congestion.This article focuses on the combination of theory and practice.The proposed suggestions and countermeasures have certain feasibility and rationality.We hope to provide some theoretical references and literature support for the discussion and relief of this type of issues.
