Research On Residents’ Participation In Community Volunteer Service

Community governance requires the extensive participation of residents.Residents must recognize their own ownership status and increase their enthusiasm for participating in community voluntary service activities in order to achieve the goal of harmonious community development.In recent years,the party and the government have also increasingly attached importance to the development of community volunteer services.Chinese society has entered a new period of development and people are constantly pursuing a better life.The 19th Party Congress proposed to raise people’s awareness of integrity,sense of responsibility,promote institutionalization of honesty and voluntary service,and strengthen awareness of social responsibility,system awareness,and dedication.This is a new expectation for volunteer service.However,although community volunteer service activities have been strongly promoted and promoted,community-wide volunteering services have also been carried out in a nationwide,but there are still many influencing factors.The community service provided by the government does not fully meet the needs of the residents.Problems such as the unsound system construction of community volunteer service institutions have also hindered the development level of volunteer service to some extent.In order to improve the community’s governance,it is necessary to use resident participation as an entry point to explore and study the influencing factors of residents’ participation in community voluntary service.This article takes the community governance theory as the research perspective,starts from the perspective of residents’ participation,and finds out the problems existing in residents’ participation in community volunteering through literature and interviews,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This article consists of six parts.The first part reviews the domestic and foreign research status of residents’ participation in community governance,residents’participation in community services,and how to promote residents’ participation in community volunteering.The second part systematically elaborates the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations.The relationship between community governance and residents’ participation in community volunteer service activities was analyzed.The third part mainly introduced the content and participation methods of residents’ participation in the volunteer service of Wuhan H community,and elaborated the effectiveness of H community residents’ participation in community volunteer service;The fourth part summarizes the factors that affect the residents’ participation in the H community,and analyzes them from external factors(government,community volunteer service organizations)and internal factors(residents).The fifth part proposes the relevant paths to promote residents’ participation in community volunteer services;The six parts discuss and summarize the full-text viewpoints.
