| The concept of Marx and Engels’ Everyday Life means not only routine actions of earning livings,but also an area for human beings practice.Workers" everyday lives are the fountain of Marx and Engels’ critique of capitalism.Date back to the beginning,Marx and Engels always insisted that everyday life is the domain for human being’s practical activities.It based on peoples’ activities that trying to meet their physiological needs,including both material and spiritual products.Therefore,Marx and Engels insisted that,peoples’ everyday activities make men human beings,but not human beings spirits decided what men would do as idealism explained.Through the analysis of humans’ productive activities from ancient times to modern times,Marx and Engels pointed out that,primeval ages showed that everyday life means unnumbered possibilities as an area for human beings activities;while capitalism had shrunk the connotation of everyday life.Under the capitalist mode of production,humans,labors were alienated from themselves,which were the foundation of libertarian everyday lives.But the accumulated wealth and enhanced productivity prepared prerequisites for the recovery of everyday life.In the socialist society,there is no divergence between any personal profits and public profits,the external world become human beings’ object again,everyday lives have their meanings back.Marx and Engels’ critique of everyday life influenced subsequent ideologists deeply,mainly in three areas.First,they provided a micro and special angle to critique capitalistic ideologies.Second,their analysis of capitalistic societies’ rooted exploitations became the footstone of most critique theories.Third,on the values,they made subsequent critique theories focus on human being’s liberation all the way.Marxist analysis of everyday life still takes an important place in modern world.First of all it is still a sharp scalpel to capitalist culture;second it proves a new angle of view to the construction of socialist society;finally it could help to guide the cultural building directly. |
