Research For Social Forces Participation In Community Correction

Since 2003,community correction has experienced rapid growth and development.The participation of social forces in the work of community correction has made the execution of punishment a further leap forward.The effective participation of social forces can increase the power of social resources,build up the confidence of the community correction personnel,enhance the ability of the correction personnel,realize the re-socialization of the community correction personnel,remove the label,help the target to return to society smoothly,realize the ultimate goal of helping others and helping themselves.Taking N city of Guangxi as the research object,the author gives a detailed introduction to the present situation of community correction and its social force participation in N city,introduces three kinds of participation modes and makes an evaluation on the effect through the statistics of community correction in this area in recent years.On the basis of exploring the reasons behind the lack and lag of laws and regulations,the influence of ideas and the immature development of the community,this paper puts forward three principles that should be followed in order to improve the participation of social forces in the community correction work: extensive use,scientific use and paid use,and puts forward specific improvement paths in the construction of thought,laws and regulations,team building and mechanism building.Make suggestions for social forces to become more involved and effective in community correction.
