The Characteristics Of Terrorist Events,Causes And Coping Research Of China

Violent terrorist attacks happen more than ever in recent years.With the cruelest methods to crime,those terrorists cause instability to the society,not to mention citizen's physical and property safety.When goes to 'terrorism',different people share different opinion on the word itself.There has been no uniform international standard to define it.However,the relative international convention sheds some light on the definition now on the basis of anti-terror cooperation between some nations.In the article here,China describe 'terrorism' as advocacy and behavior to realize one's political and ideological purposes which will lead to social panic,public safety crisis,physical and property loss,and even stresses of a nation or an international organization by violence,destruction and intimidation.Terrorist incidents are becoming more and more frequent in domestic and overseas,which pose enormous challenges on the social security.There are specific historical backgrounds for the genesis and development of terrorism.Increasing hegemonies,the instigation of religious extremism and national separatism and the spreading of information in network are the main factors which result in the development of terrorism in the international community.Meanwhile,when it comes to that of East Turkistan Islamic Movement in domestic,it may be mainly attributed to the unbalanced economic development,the influence of international terrorism as well as the instigation of religious extremism and national separatism.In order to fighting against terrorism,each country has made its efforts by not only dealing with the terrorist incidents in domestic but also-advancing international counter-terrorism cooperation.China also joined a series of counter-terrorism communities;moreover,we facilitate much regional cooperation in counter-terrorism.Terrorist incidents are threatening public security profoundly,so organizational crisis management about terrorism is an important part of government affairs.From this point of view,this paper presented a method of crisis management about terrorism which includes the following aspects.Firstly,prevention is taken as the centre.Next,alert system of counter-terrorism as well as unified and efficient command organization should be established.Besides,the influence of social media and international cooperation should be enhanced.This method provides reference to the government crisis management about terrorism.
