Study On Public Discourse Right In We Media Era

With rapid economic growth and the whole society stepping into We Media Era,instead of being soundlessly controlled by mainstream media,public discourse become increasingly open and free,which has more and more profound impact on every people’s life.Enabled by We Media and all the related innovations,general public,especially those under-privileged ones,now are more capable of attaining and sending out information freely.As a new way of information dissemination,We Media empowers general public to involve society more frequently and deeper,accordingly the need ‘to be heard’ among general public become increasingly strong.Therefore,with We Media becoming dominated,critical thinking and serious research on it become more and more meaningful.We Media find its way into nearly every aspect of the society,such as thoroughly new space for public discourse,impact on the way people live,bringing inspirations and creativity to people,and it is also making big differences on public and government affairs.Yet,known as being free and open,We Media gives birth to a considerable amount of casual,entertaining and subjective voices.What’s worse,spreading rumors and fake information to pursue profits from‘eyeball economy’ become increasingly common,which brings negative influences to the society and needs to be paid attentions to.Based on the constructive approach to We Media,firstly,this article had basic analysis on the current status of Public Course Right.And then,took one focus event of this year,‘the Girl assaulted at the Hotel’ as the case,divided it into 5 different stages,tried to monitor and analyze changes and development of public discourse right from a dynamic angle.Furthermore,used the Public Domain Theory of Jürgen Habermas and Discourse Right Theory of Pierre Bourdieu as references,try to dig into specially features of public discourse and find out the key factor during the whole discourse process.
