Adult's Narcissism,and Relationship Satisfaction

With the rapid development of China's society,the issue of love and marriage is becoming more and more prominent.Self-expansion refers to the tendency of two people to incorporate each other's resources and ideas into their own when they establish intimate relationship.The proposal of this model provides new ideas and approaches for improving the quality of the relationship,but there is little in-depth research in China.This study to involve others in self expansion of the self as the breakthrough point,USES the self-reference R/K experimental paradigm implict self-aggrandizement experimental study,using questionnaire and scale to measure explicit self-aggrandizement,narcissism and relationship satisfaction three variables,to explore the implicit and explicit self expansion in narcissism,the relationship between relationship satisfaction.In the self-referential R/K experimental paradigm of 89 subjects,the differences in different reference conditions(self,lover,lu xun and semantics)reflect the implicit self-expansion of others into the level of self.Explicit self-expansion was measured by self-expansion scale,and the relationship between implicit and explicit self-expansion was investigated.Study 2 used an experimental paradigm measuring implicit self expansion,the narcissistic personality questionnaire and Locke-varley's marital adjustment scale measurement of narcissism and relationship satisfaction level,different levels of narcissism couple,with reference to the effect and explore the narcissistic,implicit self expansion for the forecast of relationship satisfaction,and implicit self expansion effect on the regulation of narcissism and relationship satisfaction;Study 3 used the scale to measure the narcissism,explicit self-expansion and relationship satisfaction of 440 subjects.Spss20.0 and bootstrap scripts were used for data processing.The main methods included independent sample t test,variance analysis,correlation analysis,multiple regression analysis and mediation effect test to explore the relationship among the three.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)implicit self-expansion has no moderating effect on narcissism and relationship satisfaction.(2)narcissism has a significant effect on introverted self-expansion.Compared with the low-narcissism group,the high-narcissism group only shows partial implicit self-expansion.(3)self-expansion plays a mediating role in narcissism,its dominant dimension and relationship satisfaction,but there is no mediating role in the implicit narcissism dimension and relationship satisfaction.(4)implicit narcissism has a negative predictive effect on relationship satisfaction,while self-expansion has a positive predictive effect on relationship satisfaction.
