Compared with oral anxiety and listening anxiety,reading anxiety is less obvious and lighter in foreign language learning progress,but this does not mean that reading anxiety will not affect foreign students' language acquisition.Many studies have found that reading anxiety has an impact on both reading process and results.This paper takes the advanced level international students of Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College as the research object.Using the questionnaire of personal background information,the adapted Chinese reading anxiety scale,classroom observation and personal interview,it analyzes the collected data by SPSS software,combined with teaching practice and teaching material analysis,analyzes and summarizes the status quo of reading anxiety of senior international students in Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College and the related factors causing anxiety,and then `puts forward countermeasures to alleviate reading anxiety,so as to provide experience for Chinese Reading Teaching in the future.This paper is divided into six parts:the first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,research significance,research object and method,and literature review at home and abroad.The second part discusses the psychological basis of anxiety and the theoretical basis of Chinese reading anxiety,revealing the deep characteristics of reading anxiety.The third part is the the questionnaire survey and analysis of the current situation of senior level foreign students' Chinese reading anxiety.Making a comparative analysis of foreign students from three different cultural circles on five dimensions,and concludes the factors influencing the reading anxiety of advanced foreign students.The fourth part is the cause analysis,from the perspectives of learners and teachers,it puts forward the reasons for the anxiety of highlevel international students in Chinese reading,which is verified through personal interviews.The fifth part is strategies and suggestions,gives countermeasures to adjust reading anxiety from the perspective of teaching and learners,teachers should make adjustments in teaching content and teaching methods,and learners should mobilize positive emotional factors etc.The sixth part is a summary of the full text,pointing out the shortcomings of this study and the future research direction.
